We read every competitor’s own website so you don’t have to. Here’s exactly what each one publicly says about fuel monitoring precision — and where BPN-TRACK’s 100ml detection fits in.
If you’ve searched for a fuel monitoring GPS system in India, you’ve probably landed on one of these names already: FleetX, LocoNav, Blackbox GPS, WheelsEye, Speedotrack, or BlackBuck. They’re all decent products for what they do. But “fuel monitoring” isn’t one feature — the difference between systems mostly comes down to one number nobody puts in bold on their homepage: how small a theft the sensor can actually detect.
So instead of writing another “we’re the best” post, we went and pulled the actual numbers each company publishes about itself. Here’s what we found, side by side, followed by where BPN-TRACK stands.

Why “Litres” vs “100ml” Isn’t a Small Difference
Percentage accuracy sounds impressive until you do the math on a real tank. A system that’s “97% accurate” on a 200-litre tank still has a 6-litre margin of error, and even a “99.5% accurate” system leaves a full litre unaccounted for — more than enough for a driver to siphon 3–4 litres at a time, trip after trip, and never trigger an alert. That’s not a flaw in those companies’ engineering; it’s simply what percentage-based, litre-rounded sensors are built for.
BPN-TRACK’s sensor is built around a different question: not “what’s our accuracy on the whole tank,” but “how small a change can we actually notice.” At 100ml resolution, the kind of repeated small-quantity siphoning that hides comfortably inside a litre-level margin starts showing up as a flagged event instead.
Questions Worth Asking Before You Buy Any Fuel Monitoring System
- Ask for the sensor’s resolution in ml or litres — not just an “accuracy percentage,” which can hide a large real-world margin.
- Ask if the alert includes exact time, location, and quantity — a vague “fuel drop detected” notification is far less useful than a geo-tagged, quantified one.
- Ask whether refuel verification checks against the actual pump invoice, or just logs a level change.
- Ask for a live demo on your own vehicle, ideally with a small, deliberate fuel removal, so you can see the resolution for yourself rather than trusting a spec sheet.
